100 condo project....

At last February’s annual Village Two HOA, there was some discussion of the 100 condo project that is planned for the vacant six-acre field directly west of Village Two. Originally, the developers asked for 100 condos in 14 three-story buildings. They have revised their plan slightly and are now asking for 96 condos in 13 three-story buildings. However, 14 of the condos along San Victor would include office space. We have already appealed to the newspaper (we received front page attention in the Scottsdale Journal) and have spoken at a zoning/hearing meeting at City Hall. We believe this project will change our neighborhood forever with increased density, three-story buildings, increased traffic and noise. If you are as concerned about these changes as we are, please take a few minutes to Email the Scottsdale City Council. A final decision will probably be reached at the council meeting on December 11 or 12. We have led the opposition so far, but we really do need a show of strength. Please help us. Officially, the project is referred to as Mt. San Victor and the case number is 2-GP-2006 and 4-ZN-2006
