Who we are:

Village Two is part of the Villages at McCormick Ranch. Altogether there are five villages, totalling over 900 condominiums. Village Two consists of 164 condos with access to eight swimming pools and three double tennis courts shared by all five villages. We are conveniently located between Mountain View and Via Linda roads, off 91st Street in Scottsdale, Arizona. Within an eight mile radius (and in many instances within walking distance) are major grocery stores, banks, three major shopping malls, countless restaurants, churches, parks, medical facilities, Wal-Mart SuperCenter, and specialty stores. We have two easy entrances/exits to the Pima Freeway (101 loop). Camelback Walk (see picture above), a walking/jogging/bicycle path that runs miles through Scottsdale, is close by and is enormously popular with our residents.

Village Two is nearly 25 years old. We are administered by an elected Board of Directors that makes decisions concerning maintenance, safety, and financial issues, as well as enforcing of the CC&R's and By-Laws. The Board is elected at the annual HOA meeting which is held in February or March and typically, holds open monthly meetings.

A Beginning:

Today we begin what I hope will be a tremendous leap forward in keeping all homeowners updated on what's happening in Village Two. There has been some talk of starting a website, but then the idea of blogging, which is a type of website, came to mind because it's supposed to be easier to do, and best of all...IT IS FREE!!!

What information will you be finding here? Well, that depends, because it will vary both in content and frequency. A Village Two Update newsletter, along with the most commonly violated CCR's, is always posted on the dumpster doors informing the current residents of what is going on, so we'll probably put that into the blog. Then, we'll be informing everyone of upcoming Board of Directors' meetings, which are typically held once a month. Hopefully posting a meeting agenda and then the minutes will be interesting to everyone. We will include notices of upcoming social events (Pizza Party at the Pool was a big success on Memorial Day). Beyond these ideas, who knows what else.
